Introducing SEA's newest member – Diving South Australia
Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) is excited to welcome Diving South Australia as a member.
As South Australia’s only diving club, Diving SA (DSA) has approximately 250 active members. The club runs programs at the South Australian Aquatic & Leisure Centre (SAALC) and will shortly be expanding to Gawler Aquatic Centre.
Becoming a member of Sport Environment Alliance is important to Diving South Australia as it aligns with their commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible practices.
Rick Shrowder, Executive Officer at DSA says, “by joining SEA, we demonstrate to our members, stakeholders, and the wider community that we are an organisation dedicated to fostering environmental awareness and ensuring our activities remain sustainable.”
“It reflects our willingness to learn, remain open-minded, and engage in globally responsible actions, promoting a culture of care for the environment and future generations.”
Rick goes onto to explain, “we’re working with fellow SEA member, SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre and we’re confident that our SEA membership will stimulate more discussion on environmental awareness and globally responsible actions in the immediate future”
In welcoming Diving SA to SEA, Adam Cheyne, SEA CEO, said “we congratulate Diving SA’ proactive commitment to sustainable practices in the world of diving.
Diving SA’s dedication to fostering environmental awareness among its members and the broader community exemplifies the leading change that SEA strives to inspire across all sports."
Welcome to the #SEAChange, Diving SA.
