Coles Little Athletics Australia joins SEA
Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) would like to welcome its newest member, Coles Little Athletics Australia (LAA).
Coles Little Athletics Australia is the national body for Little Athletics, working with State Member Associations and over 500 Little Athletics centres nationally, where families are surrounded by a supportive and inclusive community and get to participate in a variety of running, jumping, throwing and walking events.
Coles Little Athletics Australia has recently begun its sustainability journey, discussing the importance of future proofing the sport at its latest national conference.
LAA CEO, Myles Forman, said “The recently updated and released Coles Little Athletics Australia Strategic Plan includes the development of a National Climate Change strategy. Joining SEA is part of the plan to better engage with other sports and develop a robust national policy to be embraced by state member associations and Little Athletics Centre's nationally.”
SEA Consultant CEO, Katherine O’Regan said that she is pleased to welcome the organisation’s latest member, which has been a part of the very fabric of Australian sport for decades.
“To have Coles Little Athletics Australia as a member of SEA shows the sport’s commitment to addressing climate change and we look forward to assisting the organisation in its environmental efforts.”
