Sports Environment Alliance partners with Touchline
The Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Touchline that will see the two organisations join forces to create positive environmental change for our sports community.
Touchline is an international communications agency specialising in sustainability and sport. For two decades, Touchline has worked with many of the world’s leading sports organisations and has recently opened an office in Sydney.
Michael Stoneman, Touchline Australia’s Managing Director, said the company is a passionate believer in the role sports play in transforming the way their fans and stakeholders view the world.
“SEA is inspiring its members to embrace this role by becoming sustainability leaders, and we are delighted to partner with them as they continue to create a positive change within the sports industry,” he said.
“Through our work together, we hope to not only help shine a light on the excellent work SEA is doing, but also engage with its members to further develop and showcase their own sustainability initiatives.”
Touchline’s services include providing strategic consultancy to major organisations looking to communicate their sustainability initiatives, helping its clients lead and inspire through an expert end-to-end sustainability service across strategy, reporting and communications.
“We have also pioneered a carbon neutral publishing model that we are offering to our clients,” Stoneman added. “As well as communicating our clients’ sustainability initiatives, we also help advocate for change as publishers of the independent platform The Sustainability Report – the inside track on sport sustainability.”
Executive Director Dr Sheila Nguyen said that SEA is thrilled to partner with Touchline and is looking forward to working together to enhance the industry’s engagement in the clean economy.
“The Sports Environment Alliance is looking forward to working with Touchline to draw attention to the good work being done by our members and the industry at large,” Nguyen said.
“Our partnership will help further the SEA community’s efforts to raise awareness, share knowledge and build networks around the importance of protecting our natural environment and places where we play.”
“Touchline shares our vision of environmental stewardship, and we look forward to their support and friendship along our shared journey,” Nguyen said.
