Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) is pleased to present Summersalt Gymnastics as the latest organisation to join the SEA sport organisation network.

Summersalt Gymnastics offers children of Bass Coast and beyond the launch pad to skyrocket in gymnastics and life in a fun and safe way.

As the first gymnastics organisation to join the SEA family, Summersalt Gymnatics will join with national and international peers, as well as community, commercial and other expert thought leaders to enhance the industry’s engagement in the clean economy.

On welcoming Summersalt Gymnastics as the 23rd member of the Sports Environment Alliance sport organisation network, SEA Executive Director, Dr Sheila Nguyen, said the organisation had an important role to play in educating future generations on how to do more {for the world} with less {footprint}.

“Sports Environment Alliance is extremely pleased to have Summersalt Gymnastics join our movement,” Dr. Nguyen said.

“Our vision is to empower the sport industry to better engage with the circular economy, and to adopt a collective and collaborative approach to leading change.

“The most exciting thing about Summersalt Gynastics joining the SEA family is that the organisation is in a privileged position to influence the next generation on making better choices when it comes to environmental sustainability.

“We can’t wait to work with Summersalt Gymnastics and see them develop as a leading organisation in this space amongst the Bass Coast sporting community.”

Summersalt Gymnastics Director, Chelsea Caple, said the organisation existed to ensure children had the best head start in life, and it made sense for Summersalt Gymnastics to do their part in ensuring “the kids of tomorrow enjoy the world as we have known it”.

“Gymnastics provides the fundamentals for not only other sports, but for life as well,” Caple said.

“We endeavour to source environmentally sustainable, recycled and ethically sourced products, from our gym floor to our office equipment.”
