SEA welcomes four new Directors to the Board

Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) Chairperson Margot Foster AM OLY announced the election of four new Directors to the SEA Board at the SEA AGM held on 25 November 2021.

The just-elected Directors assume their roles with immediate effect:

●      Cassandra Hadson, General Manager of Regional Sport Victoria, experienced sport administrator with governance expertise.

●      Tracey Gaudry, CEO {interim} of Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd, international sport administrator and leader, dual Olympian and Commonwealth Games athlete.

●      Amie Wallis, Head of People & Culture at the Australian Olympic Committee with wide ranging sport and corporate experience in organisational strategic transformation.

●      Neil Dalrymple, CEO of Bowls Australia, long standing sport administrator leading strategic and social change.

Returning Director:

●      Sandra Loader, experienced NED with a science background and strong governance skills.

SEA welcomes the new Directors, who are ready to lead the sport industry’s engagement with the circular economy and will help the organisation to build on the spectacular success of its first five years.

“We are delighted with the breadth and depth of expertise on our Board and look forward to drawing on our new directors’ extensive skill sets, including excellence in governance, sports administration leadership and environmental science leadership,” Ms Foster said.

“With the release of the latest IPCC report, the timing is right for the elected Directors to exert a significant and positive influence on environmental sustainability in, by and through sport.”
