Introducing SEA's newest member - Dick Johnson Racing

Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) is excited to welcome Dick Johnson Racing (DJR) to the #SEAFamily.

Becoming the first carbon neutral Supercars team and attaining the FIA’s highest level of Three Star Environmental Accreditation recently, makes DJR the perfect {sport & planet} partner in our race to protect the places where we play for generations to come.

Ryan Story, DJR Executive Chairman,  explains that innovation, professionalism, efficiency and technology are at the heart of what DJR does to drive success for the Shell V-Power Racing Team.

“With an incredible 1.25 million DJR supporters in Australia, we have a social, moral and ethical responsibility to use our platform wisely.

“Joining Sports Environment Alliance connects us with like-minded organisations with the same goals and ambitions as our own,” he said.

On the planetary front, DJR has consolidated logistics, shifted to 100 percent renewable energy (Greenpower), implemented comprehensive recycling protocols and deployed an Environmental Management Plan and Quality Management System.

Looking towards the future, DJR is also planning to  install a commercial solar system in 2022.

In welcoming DJR to the #SEAFamily Dr Sheila Nguyen, SEA CEO, said that it is exciting to see such a powerful organisation using its platform to make a positive contribution to sport, planet and society.

“DJR has already cemented its position as an industry leader, on and off the track, and we look forward to supporting their planetary journey towards a cleaner future.”

Welcome to the #SEAChange, Dick Johnson Racing!
