Western Bulldogs join SEA

Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) are pleased to announce the Western Bulldogs Football Club as members of the organisation.

Jon Couston, Head of Infrastructure & Operations at the club, said “We look forward to exploring more opportunities with SEA to move towards becoming an industry leader in the AFL when it comes to environmental sustainability.”

He added that the Western Bulldogs have had significant water harvesting and reuse systems on all their facilities for some time, along with waste management and energy efficient strategies.

“As an organisation focused on sustainability through the process of our redevelopment, it is important that we recognise our environmental impact and work towards reducing our footprint”

SEA Consultant CEO, Katherine O’Regan, said that she is looking forward to working with the Western Bulldogs and assisting the club with its future environmental efforts.

“We are delighted to welcome the Western Bulldogs Football Club as members of SEA, and excited to contribute towards a more sustainable future,  and protect the places where we play.”
