Call for Nominations for Directors to be elected to the SEA Board at the AGM on 12 November 2024

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members of Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) will be held virtually on Tuesday 12 November 2024 at 4pm (AEDT).

Formal notice of the AGM including the Business of the Meeting will be provided in October.

DIRECTOR NOMINATIONS

At this year’s AGM, SEA is seeking nominations for two non-executive Director (NED) positions for the SEA Board.

Each of these positions is for a three-year term and have arisen due to two directors’ terms expiring.

Applications are to be submitted to: applications@sportsenvironmentalliance.org  no later than 6pm on 8 October 2024 AEDT. Late nominations will not be accepted.

ELECTION PROCESS

Voting for the election of Directors (if required) will be undertaken electronically in advance of the AGM per the timeline set out below.

Please note that all times are Australian Eastern Daylight-Saving Time (AEDT).

·        8 October 2024 at 6pm:         Nominations for election close.
·        20 October 2024 at 6pm:       Closing date for the submission of any notices of motion.
·        29 October 2024 at 9am:       Voting for candidates for election opens.
·        10 November 2024 at 3pm:   Voting for candidates for election closes.
·        12 November 2024 at 4pm:   AGM.

SEA encourages all eligible (financial) Members to vote. Instructions on how to vote will be sent on 29 October 2024.
