Introducing SEA's newest member – Stadiums Queensland

Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) is excited to welcome Stadiums Queensland as a member.

Kate Harding, Senior Project Manager, Property & Environment at Stadiums Queensland explains that as Queensland’s lead venue management provider, they recognise their role in protecting the places that we all play, as well as Stadiums Queensland ability to help lead, educate, empower, and influence their fans, stakeholders, and industry for a more sustainable future.

“We’re committed to delivering a world class, sustainable portfolio of venues that are accessible, inclusive, safe and enjoyable and is excited to be joining the Sports Environment Alliance alongside other leaders in this space”, she said.

• Rehabilitated waterways and introduced native flora and fauna to gardens at Sleeman Sports Complex.

• Connected recycled water to Heritage Bank Stadium for irrigation.

• Achieved internationally recognised sustainability rating Performance Green Star Certification at Suncorp Stadium.

• Educated staff and stakeholders on sustainability
