Introducing SEA's newest member – Netball Tasmania

Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) are delighted to welcome Netball Tasmania as a member.

While Netball Tasmania is relatively new in the sustainability space, with the introduction of their new team, Tasmania Wild, Netball Tasmania are particularly cognisant around protecting Tasmania's beautiful, natural landscape, rugged wilderness and their local environment.

Kirsten Palfrey, Media and Events Manager for Netball Tasmania explains,

“Joining the Sports Environment Alliance allows Netball Tasmania to collaborate with some strong and experienced sports in this field, helping us to learn from work done in the past and amplify efforts around the country moving forward.”

“By being part of a national organisation, the visibility and awareness that can be raised around environmental issues is far greater than what we could hope to achieve alone”.

In welcoming Netball Tasmania to SEA, Jan Fitzgerald, SEA CEO, said that she is delighted to see that Netball Tasmania are inspired to be a part of a like-minded community with a common goal, driving towards positive change.

“Together, we can reduce our environmental impact and contribute to a better future for generations to come,” she said.

Welcome to the #SEAChange, Netball Tasmania
