POSTPONED - SEA x VU engagement event – City Tower Tour and member consultation for new Sport Sustainability course
Victoria University is committed to help make a difference to our planet through sport.
Through co-designed research and teaching programs, VU aims to address the priorities and challenges of industry, community and government in working towards future-proofing sustainable sport in Australia.
SEA members are invited to join a guided tour of the recently opened VU City Tower. This innovative vertical campus brings the future of learning to our students by integrating our industry partnerships into our courses. VU City Tower demonstrates our commitment to sustainable business practices with a five-star green rating and integrated partnerships with ethical organisations. This 40 min tour will showcase the 32-storey VU City Tower and its ‘flipped campus’ approach that will transform student experiences by offering placements, clinical experiences, immersive opportunities and industry-focused learning.
Following the tour, SEA members will participate in a focus group session on the development of a new ‘Sport and the Environment’ short course to be offered by VU. Industry voice is paramount to ensure such a course is fit-for-purpose.
