#SEAMoreDoMore: Designing healthy communities through healthy places to play
When we break it down, it is fairly straight forward. We need clean air, unpolluted water, and green healthy spaces to play.
So, what's the challenge in designing healthy places so that our communities can enjoy what we all love to do- watch and play sport?
This session will focus on identifying solutions for designing sport spaces with planet in mind and we will explore how we can implement simple actions to address our challenge: #noplanetnoplay.
Join us- we will listen to Jarrod Hill, CEO & Director, SportENG, #SEAPartner, Nadine Kemp, Area Manager, YMCA Victoria, #SEAMember, and the Swamprats Cricket Club, #SEAMember, on how they are doing their part in protecting the places where we play, and we will workshop solutions to how LGAs and the greater community can collaborate to protect the places where we play.
AGENDA:
4:00PM to 5:00PM - Panel discussion and workshop
5:00PM to 5:30PM - LGA {sport & planet} networking and open forum
